Opening Times

The farm shop opening times during December, January and February for picking berries or purchases are from 9.30am to 4.00pm Wednesday to Sunday except as noted below. Due to weddings or private functions being held at Montrose or public holidays we do vary our opening and closing times.

The farm shop opening times during March to November are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am to 4.00 pm, except from the 24 June to 27 July 2012 when we are closed. 

Berry & Fruit Picking Season

In season freshly picked berries or when available out of season frozen berries may be available from the produce shop. To date we have had great berry picking season. 

Loganberries, blueberries and boysenberries have now finished for the season.

Changes to berry availability will be updated by 6pm each day. Please check the website prior to coming to the farm.

THE BERRY PICKING SEASON HAS NOW FINISHED. Remaining berries are required for our products. We look forward to welcoming you back in early December 2012, in the mean time our pies and preserves may be purchased from the farm shop.

Please note we do not have picnic facilities at the farm but our staff can readily recommend to you some beautiful places nearby that cater for picnicers.

During season when stocks permit visitors are invited to pick (conditions apply) their own blueberries, red raspberries, loganberries,  boysenberries, autumn raspberries, red currants and hazelnuts during season. Please email for details. Go to the "Home Page" and register for our news list to be notified when berries are available for pick your own.

Please note that availability and ripening seasons do vary but the chart below provides a guide to ripening seasons.

Artisan Products

Delicious jams, berry pies, berry vinegars and other artisanal products made at Montrose are available from our produce shop throughout the year. Montrose Berry Farm products are available as personal or corporate gifts, whatever the occasion. We regularly courier product to major cities and certain regional centres in Australia.
